The Thanks for Typing Podcast is part of Ros Edwards’ and Val Gillies’ research journey uncovering the hidden impact of social researchers’ wives. I am Professor of Sociology and a Visiting Fellow of the National Centre for Research Methods at the University of Southampton. I’m also a fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences. My research focuses on family lives and policies, and on qualitative research methods and decolonising research approaches.
